Helpful Hints
Use the sides of your fingers to test your blood, unless your health care professional tells you otherwise.
Consider using a different finger each time you test.
You can improve the blood flow to the fingers by warming them. Lower your hands to below the waist level and gently massage the selected finger before lancing.g.
If you are testing your blood away from home where it is not convenient to wash your hands, clean your fingertip with an Alcohol Prep Pad before testing. Allow the alcohol to dry before testing.
Using a lancet tip more than once will cause extra pain due to the dull tip, it is advised to use a new lancet tip every time to ensure a correct skin puncture.
